We are looking for an experienced Employee Experience professional for this role. The Senior Specialist, Fleet Employee Experience designs, implements, supports, and monitors programs that enhance the shipboard employee journey from onboarding to offboarding. The role is responsible for engagement, recognition, culture initiatives, survey administration and analysis, and collaboration with shipboard/shoreside HR and external partners. The role ensures programs run effectively, identifies improvements, and strengthens communication of Company Culture and Core Values. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of trends and best practices in employee experience and organizational culture.

Responsibilities
Implement, manage, and track engagement, recognition, and experience programs for Fleet employees, ensuring timely, high‑quality, and budget‑aligned execution. Provide guidance and ongoing support to Crew Welfare Coordinators to enable effective and successful program outcomes.
Create and manage engaging fleet‑wide initiatives and events that strengthen participation across surveys, tenure and retirement activities, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
Partner with shipboard HR, shoreside HR, and cross‑functional teams to roll out strategic experience initiatives, monitor participation trends, and recommend program enhancements, including wellness and services. Collaborate with Shoreside Employee Engagement Specialist to ensure alignment of shipboard communication and engagement activities with corporate.
Ensure standardized processes are in place to provide guidance and also oversee the consistent use of standardized processes and guidelines (e.g., Crew Club Charter), while adapting effectively to shifting fleet and operational priorities.
Manage vendor and service provider relationships, supporting contract negotiations and ensuring HR’s operational needs and program goals are met.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
3+ Years overseeing employee recognition and/or engagement programs, preferably within the cruising or hospitality industry.
Microsoft C-Suite Qualification (Word, Excel, email, PowerPoint, multimedia) or Project Management Certification.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to problem-solve using data-driven insights and conduct surveys, needs assessments, and gap analyses.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to manage shifting priorities.
Experience supporting multiple locations and diverse workforce groups
Proficient in survey analytics tools; Qualtrics strongly preferred
Experience working with budgets and ensuring accurate financial tracking of program-related expenditures.
This position is based in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office and you would be required to work our hybrid schedule of four days a week in the office, Monday - Thursday. You would work from home on Fridays.
