We’re looking for an experienced Manager, HR Business Partner that will partner with the Sr. Manager, Executives, and Fleet personnel to drive strategic human capital plans that support organizational goals, providing HR guidance and counsel to leaders, managers, and the HR team regarding succession planning, organizational design and change, employee engagement, compensation, organization effectiveness, managing performance and conduct, employee relations, and talent acquisition. The role will be responsible for the delivery of HR human capital strategy to our Princess Fleet, while fostering team growth and developing the next generation of HR professionals. The role will provide recommendations and guidance to all levels of the organization and remain closely aligned with key leaders and their business units, as well as Captains. The Manager, HR Business Partner will be a dynamic, strategic and progressive partner and a clear communicator with a strong consultative style. A strong understanding of the business environment and objectives, as well as HR’s role in helping teammates and leaders reach those goals, is imperative. Strong relationship building, collaboration and driving an inspiring and engaged culture are critical to success. This role will need to be seen as and operate as a trusted coach, consultant, and mentor who uses innovative and pragmatic approaches to problem solve and advise through a broad range of human capital needs including Organization Design, Organization Effectiveness, Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Facilitation.

Responsibilities
Provides strategic business partnership to focusing on performance management, leadership development, talent management, succession planning and conflict management. Acts as advisor and point of contact for business leaders. Provides coaching on behaviors and techniques to achieve leadership excellence. Partners with business to execute workforce strategy for short- and long-term organizational objectives. Analyzes and concisely presents information to the management team to support and enable business growth and sound decision making.
Designs and leads projects in collaboration with various cross-functional teams across the areas of Talent Acquisition, L&D, Compensation, and Benefits to ensure alignment on communications, projects, and best practices. This includes providing business insight through data analysis, research, and benchmarking. Designs and delivers targeted solutions, including strategic planning, visioning, change management, and team building.
Evaluates inputs to determine possible systemic issues. Implements suggested changes by gathering resources and influencing organizational change. Investigates complex and unique employee issues and ensures appropriate disposition.
Plays a key leadership role in reinforcing a culture of growth, innovation, and calculated risk-taking through the application of human capital strategy, tools, and processes. Implements people practices within a work group or organization. Works with organizations to execute long- and short-term strategies involving people policies (diversity, employee engagement, divestitures).
Actively addresses issues that may impact a larger population and require intervention or process improvements. Suggests and implements necessary changes to mitigate risk and ensure that employee perspectives are considered. Promotes a diverse and inclusive culture by supporting company employee initiatives.
Contributes to organizational business plans, vision, mission, goals and business objectives. Establishes intimate understanding of the business, builds and expands relationship with clients and creates close partnerships across HR, centers of excellence (COEs) and matrixed organizations.
Serves as a role model for company values. Fosters a positive work environment by exemplifying core values every day. Assists senior management in communicating the company's culture in a consistent manner and directing it towards improved business results. Manages, coaches, performance manages, and develops an Associate HR Business Partner. Requirements
10 years of Human Resources experience at HR Business Partner level or above.
7+ years of experience with coaching at the manager level, focus on performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting.
Experience in cruise industry a plus.
Proficiency in using Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Demonstrated project management and change management experience and experience driving programs independently.
Demonstrated analytical and data management experience with experience translating data into action planning.
High level of influencing skills.
Foundational knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, performance management.
Must possess strong skills/experience in business partnering.
Effective business acumen skills and abilities that will allow the quick grasp, immersion and understanding of business issues, needs and imperatives.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and delivery with proven, measurable results for managing change.
Strong talent management, leadership development, performance management, and org dev. experience.
Demonstrated success in creating an environment of trust with clients where integrity is unquestioned; can effectively utilize negotiation and conflict resolution skills when needed.
Ability to analyze HR metrics for use in developing goals and driving key business strategies and objectives.
Excellent interpersonal, influencing and communications skills with all levels of the organization required.
Maintains knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures business compliance.
Interpersonal and communication experience and building relationships at all levels of the organization.
This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday).
