We’re looking for an amazing Workplace Services Engineer to fill this role, which is based in our Fort Lauderdale, FL office. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security. Qualified systems engineers will have a background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis.

Here’s a summary of what Princess is looking for in its Workplace Services Engineer. Is this you?

  • The Workplace Services Engineer will be involved in installing, configuring, updating, and maintaining Windows operating systems and software. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, applications, and hardware.
  •  Advanced device management, monitoring, and policy implementation using SCCM and Intune. 
  • Develop custom scripts to automate installation, configuration, and maintenance tasks. 
  • Employ JAMF management and configuration of Apple devices and integrating and supporting Mac OS devices into a predominantly Windows-based network; high-level technical support to end-users for both hardware and software issues; collaboration with team members on implementing new technologies and improving IT infrastructure; and documenting technical procedures, user guides, and best practices.
  • Manage the vulnerability patch management process, including identification, prioritization, and remediation of vulnerabilities in infrastructure systems. 

Responsibilities

  • Achieve availability by creating and maintaining a stable technology environment, troubleshooting, resolving issues in an expedient manner, and identifying root cause for complex enterprise systems.
  • Manage contractors and vendors to ensure service delivery and projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. 
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors for patch releases and support . 
  • Establish strong communication channels and agreements with vendors to streamline the patch management process.
  • Responsible for fostering effective collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful service delivery and project execution.
  • Initiate and hold regular formal meetings with internal and external team members when needed, to course correct, provide further clarity, or provide updates to all management levels.
  • Lead architectural sessions for assigned products which cross organizational boundaries based upon requirements.
  • Provide management and oversight of internal and external resources and providing detailed technical direction as well as broader strategy on projects/products.
  • Mentor and train other technical support staff on technical and procedural matters.
  • possess a strong background in problem research and documentation, coupled with the ability to oversee complex projects, mentor junior staff, and ensure technical accuracy and quality.


Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science
  • Have a background in tech support or customer service. 
  • Have in-depth knowledge of common programs and solutions, especially the products and services used by customers in their industry.
  • Have an advanced knowledge of Service Now ticketing platform.
  • Microsoft Office Tools expertise, including Visio
  • ITIL Certifications
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday). However, beginning in 2027, employees in this position will be required to work on-site at our new headquarters in Miami, FL.
