We are looking to hire a Creative Specialist. The Creative Specialist is responsible for supporting Food, Beverage and Dining team with revisions to menu files and related files that are used for shipboard printing with significant time spent routing files for approval, editing, uploading to database and distributing to teams. Responsibilities include versioning menus, maintaining content accuracy and creating documents to support Food and Beverage products. This position also fulfils requests from the Access Office for menu files that can be utilized by ADA screen readers.

Responsibilities:
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Resolves content issues and routes files for approvals using workflow best practices
Ensures accuracy of print files, assists with proofing, resolves feedback issues prior to preparing final files
Maintains asset library, tracking records, change logs and spreadsheets
Converts print files to established format for ADA screen readers and other formats as needed including digital products
Knowledge & Skills:
Scope: Incumbent will need to be well versed in creating production files for onboard printers who utilize ink jet printers and shoreside printers with full commercial capacity. This incumbent will need to work with the Food & Beverage teams, managers and directors, using established workflow processes to receive change requests, proof content, route for approvals and distribute files appropriately. Experience effectively coordinating projects in a fast-paced setting, where prioritization and time management decisions need to be made quickly, is essential. Proficiency in editing and proofing is necessary along with experience working with Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and Microsoft Teams environment. As well, this incumbent will need strong basic design skills and adequate design production expertise to occasionally resolve issues with design software and media formats independently since the position is not part of a larger creative team. Because most of the assigned work will be design production, the incumbent should enjoy focusing more on adherence to brand guidelines and using established templates rather than creating new design initiatives.
Problem solving: Resolves complex challenges in menu development, menu item descriptions, and tracking changes throughout the menu pipeline.
Impact: Directly influences guest satisfaction, brand reputation, and operational efficiency in food service.
Leadership: Provides guidance and training to culinary teams, manages resources for menu rollouts, and may ensure project budget adherence for culinary initiatives

Requirements:
BA or AA in Production Art, Graphic Arts or a related field
Proficient knowledge of layouts, typography, design principles
Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Outlook and Teams environment
Able to manage multiple projects at one time
Working knowledge of digital and media best practices
High proficiency in proofing content for accuracy
Portfolio that demonstrates good art production skills, knowledge of basic design principles and clear visual communication
2-4 years preparing production files for a wide range of print applications (in a corporate setting or for corporate clients, preferred)
2-4 years utilizing a platform or system that organizes, tracks and manages workflow
Knowledge of culinary and beverage terminology (preferred)
Travel: No or very little travel likely
Work Conditions: Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Physical Demands:Remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time, reasonable adjustments will be offered.
This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Princess office Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the area.
