The Site Engineer will oversee the on-site activities for projects, manage construction operations, and ensure that plans and specifications are accurately implemented. He/She will be responsible for coordinating with the team, resolving technical issues, and monitoring progress to ensure successful project execution.

Princess Cays—subsidiaries of Carnival Corporation & plc—are seeking a dynamic and service-focused Site Manager to join our destination leadership team.
This role is a key part of the Global Ports and Destinations Development (GPDD) team, which is responsible for the development and operations of seven Carnival-owned destinations in the Caribbean: Grand Turk (Turks and Caicos),Mahogany Bay (Roatan, Honduras),Puerta Maya (Cozumel, Mexico),Amber Cove (Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic),RelaxAway Half Moon Cay (Little San Salvador, The Bahamas),Princess Cays (Eleuthera, The Bahamas),Celebration Key(Freeport, The Bahamas).GPDD destinations welcome over 6 million visitors annually, and that number is expected to grow significantly. These destinations offer world-class amenities including pristine beaches, pools, swim-up bars, watersports, cultural exhibits, retail, and F&B outlets. This role is also directly involved in the continued development and operations of RelaxAway Half Moon Cay, Carnival’s latest initiative in destination innovation and elevated experiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Site Engineer is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
- Manage day-to-day construction activities to ensure they align with quality standards and project plans.
- Maintain communication with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers to build relationships.
- Implement quality control processes, conduct inspections.
- Ensure all work conducted meet regulations and industry standards.
- Monitor and report on the progress of construction activities.
- Assist with cost tracking and financial reporting on the selection of works.
- Complete and maintain detailed records of construction activities, budgets, materials, and any changes made to project plans.
- Assist in tracking project expenditures to help manage costs and avoid budget overruns.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in Facilities management.
- Administrative experience preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Facilities environment in a hotel or related industry.
- Fluency in conversational English.
- Guest Facing Experience.
- Customer service experience gained in a similar role is required.
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering or any other related field
- A practical-minded hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills.
- Have a good understanding and demonstrative experience of civil engineering construction techniques.
- Ability to form strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

- Work may require employee to work inside and outside with exposure to changing climate and/or operate machinery.

- Extra hours may be required when nearing the completion of a project.
- Work schedules depend on the project objectives.
- Must be able to Lift 50+ lbs.
- Collaborative work with other professionals working on the projects.
- Safety equipment is required to be always worn when on-site.
