We’re looking for an amazing Human Resources Administrator to fill this role, which is based in Denali, AK. You’ll be responsible for processing confidential employee documents and data and verifying information.  Responsible for accurate recording and maintenance of employee personnel files and records according to federal and local laws and company requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Recognition of seasonal element to our work flow in the sense of preseason, operational season and post season emphasis.
  • Processes confidential employee documents and data.
  • Verifies information to ensure accuracy.  Initiates contact to resolve discrepancies.
  • Assists with arrival and departure organization.
  • Creates, prints, distributes, tracks & links identification cards for employees.
  • Assists with ongoing compliance training duties and communications to managers regarding compliance training needs.
  • Responsible for employee file maintenance and computer data entry.
  • Produces communication pieces to simplify processes for employees.
  • Responds to calls from employees and management, often researching each inquiry.
  • Performs other clerical duties required by department supervision.
  • Performs daily, weekly & monthly audits.
  • Assists with payroll processes,
  • Maintains records according to established federal, state laws and company requirements.
  • Facilitates investigation processes from initial report to resolution & follow-up.
  • Works in a self-directed environment; will shift between region's locations and often the sole Human Resources contact.
  • Will work with our People Partner and assists the Regional Human Resources Manager with employee relations concerns.
  • Responsible for administration of select employee programs to include recognition and activities. 
  • Processes departure paperwork for inactive employees.

Requirements:

  • This job requires a level of knowledge in clerical assignments equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of high school or equivalent certification.  Demonstration of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
  • This job requires one year of experience in a position involving record keeping, file maintenance, and employee relations in human resources or similar environment.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check that will include a credit check.
