We’re looking for an amazing Manager, Food and Beverage professional to fill this role, which is based in our Copper River Princess Lodge.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily food and beverage operations for both FOH and BOH: Ensure smooth and efficient service in all dining areas, including restaurants, bars, and room service. Works collaboratively with the Food and Beverage Operations Manager on all things related to bids, menu creation, capital equipment needs, vendor relationships. Etc. Seek and collaborate with Hotel Services Manager for entertainment for hotel/ deck. Reporting to the General Manager.
Manage staff: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to company standards. Participates and supports employee activities, assists with hotel social media, and monitors.
Quality control: Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service to ensure guest satisfaction.
Budget management: Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and optimize revenue through effective inventory and resource management.
Compliance and safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular inspections and audits. Performs weekly “Manager on Duty” functions and responsibilities.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
Certification in food safety and sanitation.
Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized point of sales (POS) systems, Excel, Word, Teams and Outlook.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a cruise or hospitality environment.
Proven track record of managing large teams and delivering high-quality service.
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, budgeting, and cost control.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America Line/Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
