We’re looking for an amazing Manager, Administration Services professional to fill this role, which is based at our Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge.
Here’s a summary of what Holland America Line and Princess is looking for in its Manager, Administration Services. Is this you?
Responsibilities
Administration: Manages the daily completion of accounting processes, daily reconciliation, vault reconciliation, change orders, daily deposits, tracking of accounting errors, revenue collection and posting. Maintains office supplies to support entire lodge operations. Leads and train seasonal Admin/HR team.
Employee Onboarding and Experience: Onboarding Manager and Administrator of Pinpoint (Applicant Tracking System) to assist in hiring process (interviewing, onboarding, background check administration, reporting). Performs employee onboarding and arrival coordination for seasonal team to include onboarding documents, regular communication, IT requests, travel reservations, shuttle transportation and onsite arrivals to employee housing as well as end of season departures. Administer employee programs, events and recognition initiatives to support the positive team environment and overall service goals. Maintain and upkeep internal employee data base.
Training: Conduct seasonal team member training to include general orientation, compliance, accounting and site-specific policies, all while accurate record keeping of completion.
Payroll Processing: Ensures accurate completion of bi-weekly payroll processing. Keeping
up with missing punches and entry.
Oversee of the onsite employee housing community: Arrival and departure coordination for seasonal team. Assign the room assignments for all seasonal employees. Ensure room check in and check outs are properly executed and all documents are completed. Assists in random room inspections. All off stage employee spaces are welcoming and display required labor law and compliance posters.
Manager on Duty: Participates in property Manager on Duty program.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in administrative management.
Experience in supervising and managing staff.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial plans.
Experience in developing and implementing administrative policies and procedures.
Proven experience in administrative management or a similar role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America Line/Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).
Abilities, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
Address complex administrative issues and develop effective solutions to enhance efficiency.
