Our Guest Services department is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager of Guest Services to help lead our seasonal team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations and provide hands-on supervision to ensure exceptional service delivery for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists in managing guest service staff and activities to meet guests’ satisfaction. 
  • Supervises Guest Service activities including communication, luggage conveyance, sales, and guest satisfaction.
  • Supports and manages employees with responsibilities at the Airport, Hospitality locations, third party hotels, and luggage mobility and storage.
  • Applies knowledge of company products, policies and procedures and customer service.
  • Monitors and tracks Over the Counter sales; recommends strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction; implements approved plans. 
  • Processes financial transactions and reports for Over-the-Counter Sales
  • Processes purchase orders with Company defined guidelines and policies.
  • Performs “Manager on Duty” responsibilities.
  • Participates in guest services interviewing, selection,and training.
  • Responsible for the supervision, performance management, salary administration, and coaching of directly assigned personnel.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification is required. 
  • This job normally requires a professional level of knowledge in guest services equivalent to that which would be acquired through the completion of an Associate’s degree. Demonstration of directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirement.
  • This job normally requires three years of progressively responsible positions in hotel front desk management.  
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience in a business environment is required.
  • Must have a current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be requested.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must pass a pre-employment background check.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in the use of computer business applications, with working knowledge of computerized reservations systems, Excel and Word.
  • The ability to prioritize work, maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment. You must also have the ability to organize work, meet deadlines, maintain attention to detail and accuracy, supervise and manage staff. 
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
  • Demonstrate an ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate, coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments, management, and staff. 
  • Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
