Job Description

CSMART is currently looking for a Global L&D Officer for 40 hours per week to support the Maritime Professional Development department. 

Reporting to the Director, Global Learning and Development Liaison, this role is primarily responsible for project racking and reporting, training analysis and data capture/research, and corporate and departmental change management support. 

As Global L&D Officer, your responsibilities will include amongst others: 

• supporting inventory tracking and categorization of onboard and online crew compliance and brand related training 
• responsible for coordination and tracking of the Corporate Training Framework process, documentation, application and quality assurance
• collaborating with Subject Matter Experts, Working Groups, Training Stakeholders on training requirements and consultation reviews
• working on training analysis and research, including but not limited to documentation of robust analyses, proposing learning requirements based on data, and researching/reviewing external standards and benchmarking
• supporting the MPD team in implementation and tracking of projects and activities
• cooperating with the CSMART analytics team on overall reporting requirements

Requirements & Experience

• Experience with project management, and preferably coordination of training governance 
• Experience in coordination, tracking and change management in Learning & Development 
• Experience in developing and interpreting data systems / reporting tools 
• working knowledge of regulatory compliance for maritime legal requirements 
• desirable knowledge of cruise line shipboard operations 
• education degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (e.g. L&D, HR, Maritime operations)
